When Lesly Lara moved to the United States in 6th grade, she not only learned a new language but also discovered a love for art. Through her art classes, she began drawing and painting and soon realized she was gifted with more than just a pencil and paintbrush. 🌟
With the support of many wonderful art teachers, her passion continued to grow. We want to thank Carrie Hale and Louann Pilcher for helping Lesly continue to expand her artistic horizons at You’re Maker through her internship. ❤️💛

Ms. Kejar Butler, a financial services leader and proud board member of Thomasville City Schools, recently visited Ms. O’Neal’s Advanced Mathematics and Decision Making class to share her expertise in personal finance.
For several years, Ms. Butler has dedicated her time to empowering students with practical financial knowledge — including budgeting, credit, checking, and savings. Her engaging presentation inspired students to take charge of their financial futures with confidence and responsibility.
