Students in Mr. Kirkley’s Computer Science class at MacIntyre Park Middle School are bringing Black History learning to life through technology. As part of their studies, students designed and coded interactive apps featuring history trivia highlighting influential Black leaders from right here in Thomasville.
This hands-on project blends innovation, research, and creativity — showing how students can use coding skills to honor history while building future-ready technology skills through real-world learning experiences.
